Freeport, Illinois — This coming May 27th an exciting expo for our youth will take place in Freeport called Youth Lives Matter. Founded by a young teen who at 11 years old entered a poetry contest with a poem that eventually turned into a rap song, now age 16, he’s devoted his life to creating positive, inspiring music which turned into the group he and his mother Natalie formed called This Is Life.
We sat down this morning with Natalie Manning and renowned DJ, DJ Flash (Kelvin Martin) at This Is It Eatery for an exclusive LIVE interview about this exciting event coming to Freeport.
Natalie says they are currently looking for local (Stateline area) youth hosts, youth DJ’s, youth performers, youth artists and area businesses or non-profits that cater to our local youth to be involved in the event.
For more info or to get involved you can send an email to email@example.com
The event is FREE and will be held Sunday May 27TH from 1PM until 5PM.
