260 Marijuana Plants Found At Big Bend State Fish and Wildlife Area
PROPHETSTOWN — $250,000 worth of 6-feet tall marijuana plants were discovered by a hunter at Big Bend State Fish and Wildlife Area recently. Workers hacked down the plants found with machetes and lopping shears and burned on a wood fire. There have been no arrests. Anyone with information is asked to call Whiteside County Crime Stoppers. There is a $1,000 reward.
