Alex McIlvanie Recognized For 25 Years of Service With the Freeport Police Department

Freeport- The Freeport Police Department recognized Systems Administrator, Alex McIlvanie, for her 25 years of service with the Freeport Police Department. Alex started with the department in January of 1990 and has worked in many roles, including working as a telecommunications operator in the 911 Center, and currently as the Systems Administrator.

In her current position she is responsible for (among many other things) the maintenance, repair, and updating of all department computers, servers, and software in use at the police department. In addition to that she is accountable for backing up all records, files, folders, digital photos, audio recordings, and various other things that are stored on the server.

Alex is a very important part of the FPD team and the departments states we “depend on her to keep us up and running“. She does that and so much more! Thank you S.A. Alex McIlvanie for your 25 years of dedicated service to the department and to the citizens of our community!
