Freeport, Illinois — Freeport isn’t just the home of the annual Memorial Day Parade that takes place each year in the city’s downtown. It is also the home of big baseball fun during the Peewee Classic which happens at Freeport’s famous Little Cubs Field each year.
The Peewee Classic is an annual tournament that brings travelers to Freeport from all over the country, to enjoy a weekend of baseball at our famous cubs field. RV’s and campers fill the parking lot, as tents and coolers and sunshades pop up everywhere with families enjoying the day.
We stopped by to bring you a look at this years baseball activities going on this weekend at Little Cubs Field.
