Cedarville Resident Wins $250,000 In Illinois Lottery Ticket

A Cedarville resident is $250,000 richer today. Quentin H. won $250,000 after he bought his winning ticket at Mobil, 1111 South West Street in Freeport. Quentin told lottery officials he was sitting in his truck in the store parking lot when he scratched it. “I went back into the store to have them double check my ticket and confirm that I just won a quarter of a million dollars!

Quentin scratched an Illinois Lottery Sapphire Blue 7s ticket and instantly won a top prize of $250,000. The Mobil station will receive a $2,500 bonus, one percent of the prize amount, for selling a winning ticket. Of the seven $250,000 top prizes available, two have not yet been claimed.
