Free Program To Promote Healthy Living In Men And Women
Freeport – The Freeport Public Library is partnering with Stephenson County Health Department to bring the Heart-to-Heart program to more citizens. Heart-to-Heart is a free program to promote healthy living in men and women who live or work in Stephenson or Carroll County. With Wellness health educators help participants build skills for healthier eating and getting more physical activity.
Sarah Mekeel, Health Educator at the Stephenson County Health Department, will be presenting Heart-to-Heart at the Freeport Public Library on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. (These are duplicate sessions; you need not attend both). During this session she will focus on parts of the food label – Nutrition Facts Panel and Ingredient List – that can help you make healthy food choices.
