Frost Advisory For Freeport and Stephenson County Issued

Freeport, Illinois – A Frost Advisory has been issued that will remain in effect from Thursday, 2:00 AM CDT until Thursday, 9:00 AM CDT.

U.S. National Weather Service says that a frost advisory means that frost is likely and people are being advised to cover or move sensitive plants indoors.

* temperatures… dropping 33 to 35 degree range.

* Timing… overnight through early Thursday morning.

* Impacts… sensitive outdoor plants and vegetation may be
killed in these conditions if left uncovered.

Temperatures will drop into the 29 to 34 degree range overnight along and northeast of a line from Freeport, Illinois to Davenport and Keosuqua, Iowa.

Conditions will be ideal for areas to widespread frost overnight into early Thursday morning.
