Freeport, Illinois – Larry Pittsley is a pretty excited person lately. According to his Facebook page, Larry was able to officially announce that the downtown location in the photo below is going to be the future home of The Habitat for Humanity Re-Store, and Habitat for Humanity Builders.
Habitat for Humanity’s vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. They build, renovate and repair houses all over the world using volunteer labor and donations. Here in Freeport, Habitat For Humanity has helped numerous people and their families obtain housing as well as provide the public with a retail store where you can find home related items, home improvement merchandise, furnishings, furniture and just anything for the home.
Their new showroom will be 120ft wide and will have on site storage making it easier to get what you want.
Habitat for Humanity was closed today when we reached out for comment.
We’re very excited for Habitat for Humanity and glad they have chosen a downtown Freeport location.
