Batavia, Ill. (November 20, 2015) – In cooperation with Nation Pizza Products, ALDI has voluntarily recalled Mama Cozzi’s Supreme and Pepperoni Rising Crust Pizzas due to the presence of undeclared soy, which may cause an allergic reaction in customers who have a severe soy sensitivity or allergy. This recall will impact products sold at select ALDI stores in Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.
Upon notification from the supplier, ALDI immediately removed the affected products from its stores’ selling floor. ALDI is initiating this voluntary recall in case customers have any affected product in their homes.
The affected products have the following sell-by dates:
ALDI takes the safety and integrity of the products it sells very seriously. If customers have product affected by this voluntary recall, they should discard it immediately or return it to their local store for a full refund.
