Freeport, Illinois — The long standing issues with the building located at 17 W. Stephenson Street in Freeport, Illinois are about to come to a final end.
Yesterday on December 20, 2016, the court gave its decision that the building is unsafe and ordered its demolition initially, to be taken down by the buildings owner, Marianne Garvens.
Objecting to the decision, attorney’s for the city asked that the city take the building down.
