Freeport, Illinois — The Freeport Downtown Development Foundation recently announced a new addition to its board of directors. The group announced that local realtor Kimberly Taylor has joined with 20 other volunteer leaders to sit on the FDDF board and help grow the downtown Freeport area.
In an announcement released by FDDF Kimberly said, “I’ve been an integral part of the Freeport community for over 15 years and excited to be back downtown! It’s viability imperative to my business and to better serve my clients in the community”.
“I’m happy to serve on the FDDF board”, Taylor said.
Taylor, who owns NextHome First Class located at 123 N Galena Avenue in downtown Freeport, recently purchased and completely renovated a downtown building for her real estate business. NextHome First Class is located directly across the street from another newly renovated part of downtown, 312 Beef & Sausage.
The FDDF board is made up of volunteers who choose the direction and programs that are offered by the organization. “Kimberly is a great fit for FDDF due to her exceptional marketing skills” said Danielle Rogers, FDDF executive director.
“She’s been a community supporter and advocate for many years and we’re lucky she’s able to make this commitment to us.”
