Lena-Winslow Beats Forreston To Head To Class 1A State Championship
Lena, Illinois – Lena-Winslow has pulled off the win against defending state champion and rival Forreston this past Saturday. After last year’s playoff loss Lena-Winslow wins with a 12-8 victory against defending state champion Forreston (11-2). The Panthers (13-0) are headed to DeKalb to play for the Class 1A State Championship against Tuscola.
Tuscola, making its first championship-game appearance since 2011, will take on Lena-Winslow in a battle of unbeatens.
