Freeport, Illinois – The world exploded last night at the end of Game 7 of the 37th World Series between the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians.
In a series that can only be described as intense – a final game of the series, Game 7 which drew people in who don’t even like baseball, exclaiming they couldn’t keep their eyes off the game, for the first time in 108 years the Chicago Cubs defied goats, naysayers and a century of optimism, pessimism and hope, by pulling off a victory that will stand throughout the annals of baseball time.
No one will forget where they were when the Cubs won the World Series in the year, 2016. We have etched our generation in history.

Little Cubs Field will be having a celebratory rally at Little Cubs Field located at 1160 W. Empire in Freeport, Illinois this Sunday, November 6th at 1:00 pm.
Fans are encouraged to wear their Cubs jersey’s and come help fill Little Cubs Field with a sea of blue.
Fans will be able to share stories about the Cubs with the crowd and representatives of the field said there will be surprises too.
