Freeport, IL, September 14, 2018– Etchberger Trucking wants to fill the truck! In the aftermath of Hurricane Florence, cleanup efforts will be underway along the East Coast, and the local trucking company wants to provide much-needed support in the effort.
Carissa Etchberger of Etchberger Trucking notes, “We will be donating a semi and sending one of our drivers to deliver a trailer full of relief items to send to people in the Carolinas. The truck and trailer will be parked at Bocker Auto Group until no later than Thursday, September 20th, then will be dispatched to the East Coast to make our delivery.”
The HRT (Hurricane Relief Truck) will be at Bocker Auto Group taking donations throughout the weekend. Volunteers from several local businesses and organizations have already agreed to host additional collection sites and deliver donated items to the trailer before it makes its way south and east.

*Cases of water
*Unopened bags of diapers, baby wipes, and formula
*Blankets & Pillows
*Sealed snack products
*Personal hygiene items such as shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, and toothpaste
*Non-perishable food items
*Pet Food and Treats
100% of all donations will be used to purchase supplies and be given to the church at the destination site.
