Salvation Army in Freeport Seeking Volunteers This Week To Help With Local Flood Victims

Freeport, Illinois — August 1, 2017 — The Salvation Army in Freeport, Illinois is in need of volunteers to assist them in helping local people still coping with the area flooding. The following is what the Salvation Army needs for the remainder of this week, Tuesday through Friday.

1) Salvation Army Kitchen Help

1 cook from 7:30 am until 1:30 pm at the Corp for Lunch.
1 cook from 1:30 pm until 4:00 pm at the Corp for Supper.

2) Salvation Army Servers 

5 for lunch from 10:30 am until 12:30 am at the Corp.
5 for supper from 4 pm until 6 pm at Taylor Park School

3) Salvation Army Disaster Vehicle at Taylor Park

2 people from 11 am to 6 pm.
(The times can be broken up in 2 to 4 hours shifts)

4) Salvation Army Runner

An individual with a truck or van that can run for flood product and other services.
