STEPHENSON COUNTY, ILLINOIS — Stephenson County Government is modifying operations at the offices located at the Stewart Centre, 50 W. Douglas St., and the offices located in the Stephenson County Highway Building at 295 W. Lamm Rd., in light of concerns related to COVID-19.
Effective Monday, November 9, 2020, these offices will be closed to the general public until further notice.
Public access will be available by appointment only and on a case-by-case basis in order to carry out critical and time sensitive County business.
The general public is asked to reach out to each individual Department via phone or email to learn how to make arrangements to conduct business and avoid in-person contact.
Stephenson County Government said in a press release they are focused on protecting the health and safety of the community and our employees while continuing to deliver services to the greatest extent possible for the people and organizations they serve. “We appreciate your patience and understanding as we all work together to deal with this unprecedented situation.”
